Hamish Munro's  collection ‘Orders’ examines the classical language of architectural embellishments in Europe, as a response from his time living and working in Paris in 2015.

This collection isolates and focuses on the formal molding components such as the Ogee, Ovolo, Echinus, Bandelet and Cavetto from their original composition found within classical western architectural orders.

In the same way ornate combinations are created through the arrangement of singular linear profiles in architectural compositions, the deconstructed pieces in this collection are designed to be reassembled and layered breaking the traditional orders to create new formations.
